Jutta and Reinhard

 

Who are we?

Jutta and Reinhard were born in or near Schweinfurt, Bavaria, Germany. Jutta is age 29+ and Reinhard is age 50. We have been married for 28 years.

In 2001 Reinhard moved to Orlando, Florida and Jutta followed in August 2003. Reinhard is on a 5 year assignment until June 2006 and working for Siemens Westinghouse Power Corporation. Jutta is going to College.

 

 

Our hobby:

Hmm, we are sure, you will be surprised to hear, that our hobby is bicycling. We always liked to cycle and did city commuting.

We had touring bikes since 1978, but only really did one tour through the Netherlands.

In 1982, Reinhard had his first mountain bike. At that time we lived in the Rhoen area with a highest elevation of 828 m (2,717 ft). On some days Reinhard commuted to work with a elevation difference of approx. 400 m (1,312 ft).

We really started into cycling in 1996 when we bought Koga Miyata Randonneuring bicycles. From there on we frequently toured through Germany and Austria. More information of our tours can be found here: touring

Today Jutta and Reinhard each own a Mountain and a Road bike, all made by Cannondale.
